The Briquette Replacement Program aims to provide existing Energy Brix Australia Corporation Pty Ltd and Industrial Energy Pty Ltd briquette customers with assistance to obtain engineering and costing advice and invest in capital equipment to transition from briquettes to cleaner alternatives.

The program will operate over two years from 2013-14 to 2014-15. The program will commence from 1 July 2013.

An effective carbon price has been applied to aviation fuels through an increase in the aviation fuel excise, and to petrol and diesel used for maritime purposes through reductions in Fuel Tax Credits that may be claimed.

The Charities Maritime and Aviation Support Program was introduced in June 2012 to assist eligible charities with maritime and aviation fuel cost increases directly attributable to the effective carbon price.

The LPG Vehicle Scheme assists private use motorists with the purchase of a new LPG vehicle or the conversion of a petrol or diesel vehicle to LPG.
