Clothing and Household Textile Building Innovative Capability scheme (BIC scheme)


Status: The Clothing and Household Textile (Building Innovative Capability) scheme ("BIC scheme") replaces the TCF Post-2005 (SIP) scheme from the 2010/2011 program year.

Description: The $112.5 million BIC scheme is aimed at fostering the development of a sustainable and internationally competitive clothing and household textile manufacturing and design industry in Australia, by providing incentives to promote innovation and associated investment.

An entity intending to make a claim for grants for the 2010/11 program year under the BIC scheme must apply to be registered before 1 July 2010.  The Application for Registration and the Guide to Eligibility and Registration for the BIC scheme are available through the relevant links below.
