Re-tooling for Climate Change

Program StatusThe program runs for four years from 2008-09 to        2011-12.

Applications may be submitted at any time and will be assessed on a regular basis by Innovation Australia.  An applicant may commence work on their project once AusIndustry has reviewed its application and confirmed that it is complete and eligible. However, there is no guarantee of funding support unless and until an offer of grant is made and a grant agreement signed.

Description:  The Re-tooling for Climate Change program is one of the three elements of the Clean Business Australia initiative. The other elements are the Climate Ready Program and the Green Building Fund.

The Re-tooling for Climate Change program will help small and medium sized Australian manufacturers reduce their environmental footprint, through projects that improve the energy and/or water efficiency of their production processes. The program provides grants of between $10,000 and $500,000, up to a maximum of half of the cost of each project.
