Description: The Climate Ready Program is one of the three elements of the $240 million Clean Business Australia initiative. The other elements are Re-Tooling for Climate Change and Green Building Fund.
The Climate Ready program ($75m over 4 years) is a competitive grants program providing grants from $50,000 up to $5m on a matching funding basis to support research and development, proof-of-concept and early-stage commercialisation activities to develop solutions to climate change challenges.
The program opened for applications on 28 July 2008. The following are the closing dates for the first four rounds:
- Round 1 - closed 4 September 2008
- Round 2 - closed 4 December 2008
- Round 3 - closed 12 March 2009
- Round 4 - closed 25 June 2009
